Grade Level Liaisons (GLL)

Grade-level Liaisons (GLLs) are newly created positions within the PTO. The volunteers in this role will support the individual grade levels liaising between the PTO and the school. Scroll down for the Role Description.

At the Elementary level, GLLs will recruit and support Classroom Coordinators. Classroom Coordinators assist the teacher in different specialties, ie: Creating the Class Directory, Volunteer Coordinating (Crafts, Mystery Readers), Teacher Gifts, etc. This year we are having Class Coordinator “teams” (as opposed to only 2 coordinators in the past), with one “lead” coordinator who will correspond with the teacher on behalf of the team to reduce email traffic.

For each school year, GLLs will be creating a Sign Up Genius for Classroom Coordinator volunteers. The links to sign up will be sent by the PTO in early September - keep an eye out for PTO emails, Facebook posts, and website updates if you’re interested in this fun role!
